Meet Nikki
The laid-back, slightly chaotic human behind Kitty Kissed Photography.
Hi, I’m Nikki
I’ve called Colorado home for most of my life, and honestly, it’s hard not to fall in love with the beauty around us. From dramatic sunsets to quiet skies and winding landscapes, Colorado has a way of reminding us to slow down and notice the moment.
Photography first caught my attention when I was around 14 years old. As I got older and became a mom, it became something even more meaningful: a way to preserve memories before they slipped by too quickly.
Why Photography Matters
Life moves fast. Sometimes we spend so much time trying to preserve the moment that we forget to fully live in it.
I want to help with that. Whether it’s a wedding, friendship, family moment, beloved pet, or a sunset that takes your breath away, photos give us a way to hold onto pieces of life we can never truly get back.
What Working With Me Feels Like
My goal is for your session to feel natural, relaxed, and fun. I’ll help guide you with poses when needed, but I never want things to feel stiff, forced, or uncomfortable.
Whether you’re serious and moody, awkward and goofy, shy, chaotic, or somewhere in between — there’s no right or wrong way to be.
Fun fact: I’m awkward, ADHD, and identify as a mildly chaotic squirrel most days, so there is absolutely zero judgment here.
Why “Kitty Kissed Photography”?
Kitty Kissed Photography was named after someone very special: my husband’s soul-cat, Twilight.
Twilight was our beautiful house panther. Whenever I sat down to edit photos, he would plant himself right in front of the computer monitor, facing the screen. I could never tell if he was supervising me or “kissing” every photo that passed by.
After he passed, I realized how thankful I was for every photo I had taken of him. Those moments are something we can never get back, but through those pictures, we can still relive the memories.
